About this deal

As you might be aware EA's long-lasting relationship with FIFA has finally come to a close therefore this year the names changed and in the future EA's football game will be known as EA Sports FC. Whilst we may see a FIFA 24 it won't be made my EA. However, the breakdown of the relationship between EA and FIFA does not seem too much of a cause for concern with EA Sports FC 24 having 19000+ fully licensed players, 700+ teams and over 30 leagues to play with. EA Sports FC is a continuation of the foundations built on almost 30 years of EA FIFA games. Furthermore, Playstyles by Opta wants to further increase the authenticity in-game by capturing the unique abilities and playstyles we see from some of the best players in the world. An example they've given for this would be Haaland's power shot. Authenticity definitely feels like a focus in EA Sports FC 24 and we look forward to seeing how that translates into the game on release. HyperMotionV captures the game as it’s truly played, using volumetric data from 180+ pro men’s and women’s matches to ensure movement in-game accurately reflects real-world action on the pitch. From realistic SAPIEN player models to the ripple of your favourite club’s kit, the revolutionised Frostbite™ Engine dials up the detail to immerse you in every moment. Mercifully, EA has finally done away with those annoying daily training sessions in Career mode, but that doesn't mean there’s now no control over how your team prepares for a match. As before, you can put individual players on specific training plans to suit their play styles, but now your assistant coach will advise (read: tell) you when to do this for certain players. Oh, and if you really do want to play coach, career mode has a new (albeit crushingly boring) tactical view option that lets you watch matches from the dugout.

The playable modes in FC24 are nigh-on identical to those in FIFA 23, and, as we’ve come to expect from EA, some of these modes have clearly had more attention paid to them than others. The revolutionised Frostbite Engine delivers The World’s Game in lifelike detail, bringing a new level of immersion to each match. Feel closer to the game with three cutting-edge technologies powering unparalleled realism in every match: HyperMotionV**, PlayStyles optimised by Opta, and an enhanced Frostbite™ Engine.Play now and get a UEFA Euro 2024 player in Ultimate Team™ after 18 December ahead of the authentic tournament experience launching in-game this summer.* PlayStyles dimensionalise athletes, interpreting data from Opta and other sources into signature abilities which heighten the realism and individuality of each player. The revolutionised Frostbite Engine delivers The World’s Game in lifelike detail, bringing a new level of immersion to each match.

Write your own story in Manager and Player Career, and join friends on the pitch with cross-play*** in Clubs and VOLTA FOOTBALL™.Moves, looks and plays like football. EA SPORTS FC™ 24 brings you closer to football than ever before, powered by a trinity of technologies driving gameplay realism in every match.

Hitting my first successful Precision Pass to split open my opponent’s defense in a way that hasn’t been possible before. I struggled with this mechanic at first, but after practicing the required input combinations in the Training Hub, Precision Passes became a powerful tool that I’ll continue to use regularly with the right players (looking at you, Trent Alexander-Arnold). Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. EA Sports FC looks to be striving towards realism with HyperMotionV, playstyles by Opta, improvements to the frostbite engine and also making some pretty sweeping changes to its Ultimate Team mode to enhance player-choice with the addition of Ultimate Team Evolutions. You'll find more on these new features below. EA SPORTS FC™ 24 is home to 19,000+ fully licensed players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30+ leagues across world football.

EA’s first FIFA-free football game does its talking on the pitch

To play this game on PS5, your system may need to be updated to the latest system software. Although this game is playable on PS5, some features available on PS4 may be absent. See PlayStation.com/bc for more details. The world’s very best long-range ball curlers, like Heung-Min Son and Mohamed Salah, are equipped with the Finesse Shot PlayStyle+, which gives them maximum curve and exceptional shooting accuracy. These boosts really do translate into superior in-game performance, and players in traditionally unglamorous footballing roles, like holding defensive midfielders, feel much more valuable to the team than ever before (top tip: the Intercept PlayStyle, boasted by the likes of Aurélien Tchouaméni and N'Golo Kanté, is pretty much a cheat code for automatically regaining possession). There are 32 PlayStyles in total, split across six categories – Shooting, Passing, Defending, Ball Control, Physical, and Goalkeeping – with the very best players also benefiting from PlayStyles+, which are basically enhanced versions of a certain PlayStyle. Players known for curling in shots from a distance might be equipped with the Finesse Shot PlayStyle, for instance, which allows them to perform finesse shots faster and more accurately than those without it. The enhanced Frostbite™ Engine delivers The World’s Game in lifelike detail, bringing a new level of immersion to each match. Develop club legends and improve your players with the brand new Ultimate Team Evolutions, and welcome women’s footballers to the pitch alongside men as you craft your dream XI.
