Samsung Mobile always tries to delivers the most advanced and appealing smartphone into the market. This is a big, but still just about manageable, phone at 164.8 x 77.2 x 8.1mm. I had no problem dropping a photo from the Gallery app into an outgoing message. This home-brewed chip is roughly in the same performance ballpark as the Snapdragon 865, but Qualcomm’s chip is measurably faster and more efficient. Apps also have to be coded for Flex Mode, and third-party camera apps probably won't be. VSCO, for instance, just opens up into a big, full-screen viewfinder, which stays that way when the phone is folded. If you’re simply looking for a great phone right now, then the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the better bet. It’s more robust, has a better camera, and will last you through the day more reliably. Overall, the Z Fold 2 offers smooth performance, but I noticed minor software glitches at times. The YouTube app view didn't change I switched screen modes at one point, but restarting the app resolved the problem.
Both the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 have 4500 mAh batteries, which isn’t that big by modern standards. Especially not given the size of these displays.
