About this deal

You do so by stacking pairs of matching goat cards in front of you and stealing opponent's goats before the draw pile runs out. It can be a pretty brutal game at times if you can’t burry your large goat groups before someone else steals them, but that’s how the game works. Because it is a silly game, no one should get too upset when your stack gets nuked by an unexpected action or two.

It’s great when you know someone has a Chuck Norris or Leonardo de Caprio stack with several 25 and/or 50 wild cards and you have three action cards to help you steal it from them: play the action card where you ask the player to your left for their highest wild card until you get to someone who has a wild card to give you (players should be honest about it or why bother playing? Are you willing to battle with your friends, hurt feelings, and play aggressively to become the Lord of the Goats? BECOME THE GOAT LORD: The GOAL of this hilariously strategic card game is to become Lord of the Goats! If the discard pile contains 5 or more goat cards at the time the Draw Pile becomes empty, then shuffle the remaining discard pile and continue drawing from it as the Draw Pile. It's perfect for any family game night, party game, thanksgiving games, christmas party games, teen games and more!It is not that easy though as other players can steal or eliminate your herds through either duels or the use of action cards (which have truly zany effects). I’ve bought four copies of Goat Lords and the expansion after giving away our other copies to two teen girls in college, a couple in their late 20s, and my in-laws who are in their late 70s and play card games with other elderly couples in their building. If you’re looking for hilarious card games that will make everyone laugh then you’ve landed on the jack-pot!

The player found on the dealer’s left begins the game, gameplay will continue clockwise around the group. There were also some 1-2 star reviews from people saying Goat Lords is a blatant rip off of Uncle Becks Cover Your Assets but I don’t agree. You can end up winning simply because your last card happens to match the big stack allowing you to steal it.If you’re looking for hilarious card games that will make everyone laugh then you’ve landed on the jack-pot. they both love the game, love stealing stacks and particularly love winning the 'mega stack' through careful playing of action cards or wilds. If the top card of the discard pile matches a card in a player's hand, the player can choose to use it to create a pair on their goatherd.

It’s all a matter of whether you want to play a game with action cards and cute and funny art work or a more streamlined similar mechanic game like Cover Your Assets. Welcome goats to the herd by taking two identical cards (or one wild) from your hand and placing them in front of you. Also, if you do make good use of the rotate card, you can then play a new pair of goats on top, meaning the big stack you just stole cannot be easily stolen from you. PS it comes with a coupon code inside the box which can be used to purchase the expansion or another game from them!If players cannot complete any of the above-mentioned actions, then they may discard a card and draw a new card.

Know when to hold ‘em and know when to attack, as you are also a potential target for other players!Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).
