I’ve put quality as a weakness but that’s only because the first one came with a chip in it however, mothercare were happy to swap it. The bed has three adjustable mattress heights depending on the size and age of your little one, the highest to be used for newborns and the lowest for when your child can stand. The design of the cellular blanket helps provide greater insulation and can be used by layering with a flat sheet; this allows you to achieve the right level of warmth for your little one, depending on room temperature or the season. I can not fault the wardrobe or the changing table/drawers as they are beautiful, strong and after a year and a month, still immaculate even with a super sturdy baby bashing about. You are unable to lower to cotside when putting baby in which can make it difficult when the height has been lowered.

I love that there are three adjustable highs and that it turns into a cot bed definitely worth the money. The stylish Bloomsbury cot bed has a 3 position height adjustable mattress base, to grow with your child. The jersey blanket is suitable for swaddling and the jersey sheets have a fully elasticated skirt for a secure fit over your cot bed mattress. The sides are high which means he has never been able to escape but it was difficult to put him down asleep when he was a baby. Although this is a great cot bed i find the bars are very flimsy when knocked or leaned against even when my son rolls onto them.

Lovely design, looks very smart and nice in the room but the wood is chipping slightly and I don’t think I can use this as a toddler bed as we haven’t been able to convert it. The cot bed comes complete with an under cot large drawer, perfect for storing your nursey essentials. Together they will be the perfect pair to see my son go from newborn to older toddler and then for baby number two!When using blankets and coverlets in the cot you should always keep your baby's head uncovered and their blanket should be tucked in no higher than their shoulders. The cot was easy to put together but you do need someone to help you, although this is only down to the size and weight of the cot as you assemble it. You can higher or lower the cot slats to a suitable height for you to place baby and according to how they grow. Other than that the instructions are very clear and the parts are well made so fit together without any problems. Baby is only eight months old so we have not taken the sides off to make it into a cot bed yet but it will look just as stylish as a cot bed.
